The purpose and objective of The Rotary eClub State of Jefferson Foundation is to provide funds for charitable and educational activities as determined by the Rotary eClub State of Jefferson Foundation Board of Directors and limited to the following purposes: charitable, scientific, literary, fostering local, national, or international humanitarian and educational projects.  The term charitable is used in its generally accepted legal sense and includes but is not limited to relief of the poor, the distressed, the physically and mentally challenged, or the underprivileged; advancement of education or science; erecting or maintaining public facilities, monuments, or works; lessening the burdens of government; lessening neighborhood tensions; eliminating prejudice and discrimination; defending human and civil rights secured by law; and combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency.
